Review: This item has potential but unlike the product photo the faux leather was very cheap and bright, making it too tacky to gift to a loved one. To save it, I added black faux leather edge paint to all the edges, and used it as a wash on every panel to darken and de-uniform the appearance of the leather. I replaced the cheap string cord with Greek leather and added a metal clasp lock. Also sowed some gold thread around the 20 face for flair. Result was very nice and I’m now proud to gift it.
