Review: best and easiest method for setting up rain barrels, I have 8 in service now, bought another 10 for myself and neighbors who have asked me to install on their water barrels so they can also create a linked system. FYI, the compression assembly is counter threaded so when you install the valve you are actually tightening the barrel collar, The large valve bore and ball valve are helpful for flow in a gravity system. I remove the valve for the winter., but leave the collars on
